I was asked by my “hooker” friend Betty (big chuckles) to create a basket for storing her wool strips and supplies for her projects. So voila: this massive flat sided 14″X19″ Hooking Supplies Basket. Now all the ladies in her hooking group wanted a class so they can all weave one.  After we weave the baskets, the ladies plan to stain them dark on the inside, and apply chalk paint to the outside for a primitive style finish to go with their ancient craft. Betty will teach them the finish.  This is a skill I am excited to learn as well.
